MA TRADITIONAL BARONG TAGALOG (FENANDEZ)

The Barong Tagalog or Barong Tagalog (dress of the tagalog) is the Philippines’ national dress worn at formal, ceremonial, business or official functions. It is not a shirt’ but a coat in itself that is loose and worn tucked outside the trousers. It comes in fine needle work (embroidery) or hand-painted designs on various fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk jusi or handwoven pina.
