HISTORY AND OVERVIEW:
During March of 1987, the company started as a single proprietorship tailoring shop. The company started with five (5) sewing machines with equivalent number of sewers. Making high quality pants, woven long sleeved/short sleeved polo, coats, and formal barongs. The company had seasonal businesses with Japanese contractors who exported to Asia – Pacific.
Through the years Michel André maintained a consistent high quality workmanship in all of its merchandise- from contemporary barongs, to formal Barong Tagalogs, to coats and trousers (suits).
The retail outlets are found in almost all The SM Stores, The Landmark, Metro Gaisano, & other provincial retail outlets KCC Malls (Mindanao), & Gaisano CDO. The company now, with over 100 trained employees and with its latest equipment and facilities, is more than capable to provide office and hotel uniforms, formal and casual wear for men and women. At present, Michel André has 40+ strategically located department stores nationwide.
